Dr Muna is an experienced, compassionate and well-rounded gastroenterologist. She has a specific interest in the management of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and understands that part of managing any chronic condition is developing relationships with patients built on good communication and trust.

She is committed to delivering high quality endoscopy in gastroscopy and colonoscopy, and is experienced in dye-spray chromoendoscopy.

Dr Muna completed her gastroenterology training in Perth. She then undertook further studies in public health at the University of Western Australia and then returned to appointments at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and private practice in 2010.

Personal

I love being active and particularly enjoy aerial activities including trapeze, lyra (aerial hoop) and silks, as well as running and yoga. I am happiest outdoors, and have an ever-growing number of plants and pets.
